Susan Gordon-Hickey
Au.D., Ph.D.
Susan Gordon-Hickey, Au.D., Ph.D., received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, her doctorate of audiology from the University of South Alabama, and her doctor of philosophy from the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Gordon-Hickey is a faculty member in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology in the College of Allied Health at the University of South Alabama. She specializes in hearing loss, hearing related disorders, and communication in noisy environments. She currently is completing hearing in noise research under a National Institutes of Health grant. She enjoys working with individuals with age-related hearing loss, tinnitus, and auditory processing disorders.
She is certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is certified in the state of Alabama. Dr. Gordon-Hickey has most recently published in the Journal of the American Academy of Audiology, American Journal of Audiology, and the Journal of Voice.
